Spanish striker Nico Williams was recognized as the best player of the final, 17-year-old Spanish striker Lamin Yamal was recognized as the best young player of Euro 2024. And the best player of the tournament was the Spanish midfielder Rodri. The previous times Spain became the European champion in 1964, 2008 and 2012. They also became the third team in the last nine Euros to win without a penalty shootout at any stage of the tournament.
