Crochet artist inspired by the sea and mushrooms

Вязальщицу крючком вдохновили море и грибы

Estonian artist Marianna Seiman crochets flowers, mushrooms and shells. The products are very realistic with small details.

Marianne learned to crochet as a child. With age, she mastered various crafts: felting, sewing and making jewelry from polymer clay.

But, in the end, the woman returned to crocheting. First I knitted brooches, then mushrooms, marine life and flowers. “The flowers became larger, I began to use wire in my work and delved into this topic,” said Marianna.

The artist’s works are very similar to amigurumi. This is the name of the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small soft animals or objects endowed with the properties of living beings. Products of dense texture, seem soft to the touch, bizarre shapes.

The artist conducts master classes and sells her works through an online store.
