In Hungary, a village was baked from gingerbread

В Венгрии испекли деревню из пряников

One village in Hungary has now received its own gingerbread copy. The locals created it for Christmas.

Agnes Kelemen, deputy head of the dance ensemble:
“We use 70 kg of flour, 20 kg of powdered sugar, 20 kg of honey, 220 eggs and two large boxes of gingerbread spices.”

Everything turned out to be like in the real world: about 100 houses, enterprises, churches and a town hall. The windows glow comfortably, and there is also a train running – also gingerbread. And even that’s not all.

And most importantly, the work on the project united the whole village.

Erzsébet Szabo, one of the authors of the project:
“Many people helped here in the evenings after work, often staying late until midnight. Pensioners spent the whole day here in the morning. So it’s a lot of teamwork.”
