Cinderella, spider and hot dogs – there is a lot to see in Tompkins Square Park in New York today. Dozens of dogs with their owners participate in a costume parade dedicated to Halloween. The owners tried to come up with the most amazing outfits for shaggy pets.
Among the participants are both music lovers and sports fans.
In the owner of the dog:
“His name is Gremlin. He is wearing a T-shirt of (former baseball player Derek) Jeter. We represent the Yankees team and we are going to beat the Mets.”
And this dog has its own fur as a costume. The owner says that the pet simply will not allow you to put on an outfit.
The Halloween Dog Parade is held here for the 34th time. Every year, several hundred pets participate in it, and 2000 spectators come to watch the costumed procession. The event is charitable. The organizers are raising funds for the maintenance of a dog playground in Tompkins Square Park.
