The 9th International Competition “Top Model of Northern Cyprus” was held on the territory of the Grand Sapphire Resort, impressing with the high level of organization. The winner of the competition was Hayat Gökel, representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the second place was taken by Evelie Maria from Canada, and the third place was taken by Athena Podsevalova from France. The title of “Grand Sapphire Beauty” was received by Russian Anastasia Devyaterikova
The competition, held for the ninth time under the leadership of the Hayriye Vurdu Organisation, attracted international attention. The models presented collections of famous designers: in the first exit – swimsuits from Pinar Kerimoglu, and in the second – outfits by the creative director of Atelier Of YOS Özge Hulisiag. The evening ended with a show of a collection by Erol Albayrak, a famous fashion designer, whose cropped outfits added elegance to the final outing.
Hosts Alp Kırşan and Demet Şener also performed at the event, and the musical accompaniment was provided by popular Turkish singer Tugba Yurt. A special moment of the evening was the unexpected celebration of the birthday of the organizer of the competition Khairie Vurdu right on stage, which added a warm and friendly atmosphere to the event.
