A large-scale aviation technology festival TEKNOFEST has started in Northern Cyprus, bringing together an impressive number of guests on the first day. The event is held at the former Ercan Airport under the auspices of the TRNC Presidency with the support of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation and the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology. 132 partner organizations participate in the festival. On the first day, 62 thousand visitors were registered, and the festival itself will continue until May 4.
TEKNOFEST offers a rich program: 116 thematic stands, technology competitions, flights of national aircraft, master classes for children, exhibitions, science shows, XR zones and performances on the main stage. Admission to the festival is free, but requires online registration (children under 7 years old – without it). Visitors can enter the territory daily from 09:00 to 19:00.
