Tuition fees
In the 2020-2021 academic years, we provide a 75% discount on tuition fees for all participants of the Girne American University Multicultural Summer School. By coming to our Summer Language International School, you receive a 75% grant for the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. A 75% discount is given on the condition that you complete your studies under the program with us. That is, if you decide to transfer to another university without completing your studies at GAU, you will be required to pay the entire amount of the discount for the period of your studies at GAU. The price of bachelor’s programs for one academic year (autumn and spring semesters) with a 75% discount:

GAU Admission Process
In order for your admission to the university to be successful, you must comply with the rules for submitting documents. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you with admission. We recommend that you send the following documents no later than two weeks before the start of registration at the university. Step 1
For admission to GAU, send us scanned copies of the following documents by e-mail: Certificate of secondary (complete) general education or diploma of secondary vocational education, or initial vocational education (if it contains a record of the bearer’s receipt of secondary (complete) general education), certified by a state notary office.
Proof of English language proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL), if you do not have them, you will be able to take a test on arrival during registration at the university.
A copy of a valid passport: only pages with personal details and expiration
date Completed University Admission Form. Remember that all original academic documents must be translated into English and notarized by a government notary office. Step 2
If your application is accepted after reviewing your documents, we will send you a Provisional Acceptance Letter by e-mail. In order to receive a letter of full acceptance to our university, you need to pay a non-refundable deposit of €1000 to the university account (bank account details will be indicated in the letter). This deposit will be used to pay for university tuition and will be transferred to your student account. After paying the deposit, send us a scanned copy of the payment receipt by e-mail. Step 3
Once the deposit has been transferred to the university’s account, you will receive an Acceptance Letter confirming your admission. This letter will allow you to fly to Northern Cyprus via Turkey and you will need to show it at passport control. Step 4
You need to buy a ticket to North Cyprus. Direct flights to the only airport in Northern Cyprus, Ercan (Ercan or Lefkosa), are operated only from Turkey: from Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya, Izmir and Adana.
Once your flight ticket has been purchased, please email a copy of your ticket to veles1@velesent.com so that we can arrange your pick-up at the airport. The ticket must be sent at least 3 working days before the date of your departure. Students who have not paid a deposit of €1000 are not guaranteed a meeting at the airport. Step 5
Upon arrival at the university, please visit our GAU Multicultural Summer School office so that we can complete your registration at the university. You must provide us with all the original documents previously emailed during the application process and 12 passport-sized photographs.
To apply for a transfer from another university to GAU
