It was still October, and snowflakes swirled on Regent Street in London. So far, this is not real snow, but winter, and therefore Christmas, is coming. At least, that’s what Hamleys, the world’s oldest toy store, thinks.
Keane Herman, General Store Manager:
“It’s never too early for Christmas. We start talking about Christmas in January. As soon as one Christmas is over, we are already thinking about the next one.”
But now is the time to think about Christmas. Therefore, the store presents the “Top Ten”. These are top toys that are offered to buy as gifts for the main holiday of the year.
Also in the top 10 are a baby doll, a set of colored bricks and Lego constructors.
The store assures that every customer will definitely find something for himself. The range is designed for all budgets and includes both inexpensive toys and premium products.
Hamleys management believes that trading will be good this Christmas. Hope for this is inspired by the optimistic mood of buyers.
