The “21st Cyprus Theater Festival”, organized in cooperation with the municipalities of Lefkoşa, Kyrenia and Gazimagusa, will start on May 20. The festival will open with the play “The Shawshank Redemption” by the Ankara State Theater at the Middle East University AKCM.
According to the information provided by the Theater of Lefkoşa Municipality, the festival will end on June 30, and performances will be shown in three cities.
The gold sponsor of the Cyprus Theater Festival is İktisat Bankası, the silver sponsors are Birinci Global Medya, Nesdersan.com, Pro Temizlik, Siba LTD and the Savings Cooperative of Lefkoşa Municipality. In addition, Middle East University will sponsor the hall, and Pasha Group and Oscar Group will sponsor the accommodation.
