Unusual guests gathered at the Shanghai Museum. Cats walk along with people in its halls. This event is held under the slogan “Meow Night”. It is held as part of an exhibition dedicated to Ancient Egypt. People and furry guests will see an exhibition called “Secrets of Saqqara”.
In ancient Egypt, the goddess Bastet was revered. She protected the pharaoh and the sun god. She was often depicted as a woman with the head of a cat.
At the entrance to the museum, you need to show certificates that the cats are healthy and vaccinated. Pets should be transported around the halls in a stroller or carried in a carrier. Veterinarians are on duty nearby, just in case. If the cat gets tired, you can let it out for a walk in a specially designated area.
The Meow Night event was held six times. 200 guests were allowed to attend it per evening.
