President Ersin Tatar participated in the Ülker Lefkoşa Marathon organized by Lefkoşa Municipality (LTB).
According to the information provided by the presidential administration, Tatar, in his address to the press at the event, congratulated all those who contributed to the Lefkošiė Marathon, which has become a tradition.
Drawing attention to the importance of the marathon, the funds from which will be used to treat the “little heroes” undergoing therapy in the children’s oncology department, Tatar noted that participation in such a wonderful organization in the fresh air contributes to the fulfillment of social responsibility and strengthening solidarity.
The President stressed the importance of sports and walks for a healthy lifestyle, noting the joy of opening new gyms throughout the country.
Tatar also said that on his initiative, walking paths are being created next to the president’s residence in the Lefkosha-Metehan area on an area of 400 doniums.
“Thanks to the various sports areas and walking paths, Lefkosa will get a stunning location. We will leave a beautiful legacy for the future in the interest of a healthy lifestyle,” he added.
