President Ersin Tatar attended the opening ceremony of the 14th Yenibogazici Bullet Festival and the 5th International Folk Dance Festival.
According to the information provided by the President’s Office, Tatar noted that the events held play an important role in the socialization of the people and the transmission of Turkish Cypriot traditions to future generations.
Emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in the field of culture and art, the TRNC President congratulated the Mayor of Yenibogazici Katyp Demir, the members of the municipal council and employees for their contribution to the organization of the festivals.
Tatar noted that international festivals contribute to the promotion of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and strengthen ties between its youth, also expressing joy over the presence of foreign guests in the country.
