President Ersin Tatar received the British Minister for Europe and North America Stephen Dowdy.
During the talks, the parties discussed bilateral relations, regional issues and opportunities for expanding cooperation between the UK and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
After the talks, President Tatar made a statement to the press, noting the importance of dialogue with the UK and expressing hope for further strengthening of cooperation. He stressed that the meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere and the parties exchanged views on a number of topical issues.
