Ercan Airport in Northern Cyprus continues to show steady growth in passenger traffic.The main airport of the TRNC, through which most tourists, investors and property owners fly to Northern Cyprus, showed a noticeable increase in both the number of passengers and the number of flights at the beginning of 2026.
According to T&T Havalimanı İşletmeciliği, which operates Ercan Airport, the airport handled 919,504 passengers and 6,053 flights between January 1 and February 28, 2026, confirming the growing interest in North Cyprus as a tourist destination and real estate market.
Growth of more than 10% in a year
Compared to the same period last year, the indicators have increased significantly.
