From Tokyo to New York: Christmas Preparations

От Токио до Нью-Йорка: рождественские приготовления

In Tokyo, light installations and holiday shows fill the city with Christmas cheer, despite the lack of religious connection to the holiday. In Taipei, a Christmas tree has been erected near Taipei 101 and an entertainment city has been organized, and in Nairobi, shopping malls are already sparkling with Christmas lights. In Dubai, Christmas markets and a giant Santa add to the festive flavor.

European capitals also shone: London was decorated with angels on Regent Street and bright decorations on Oxford Street and Trafalgar Square. A hundred fairs were opened in Berlin and the main Christmas tree was lit. A parade of Coca-Cola trucks took place in Chile, and a Christmas train runs in Colombia.

The United States and Latin America are not far behind: ice rinks and a lantern exhibition have opened in Los Angeles, and a Christmas tree and a fair have been lit in Chicago. New York shines with shop windows and a Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, and in Caracas, Santa rides around the city on a bike among holiday installations.
