The Chancellery of the Consular Department of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Cyprus has provided assistance to more than 15 thousand Russians during the year of work in the north of the island. According to the Russian diplomatic mission in Nicosia, since its opening in August 2023, the office has received over 15 thousand visitors.
Previously, consular services were provided in the difficult conditions of the buffer zone, which made access difficult for about 50 thousand Russians living in the north of the island. The opening of the office made it possible to meet the growing demand for notary services, passports, citizenship and other documents. Russian Ambassador Murat Zyazikov noted the importance of such work, emphasizing the priority of caring for the rights and needs of compatriots.
