Applications for the Vedat Kaner Foundation Higher Education Support Scholarship will begin on July 16 and close on Wednesday, August 13. You can apply through the official website of the foundation: www.vedatkanervakfi.org.
The chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, Kaan Kaner, noted in a statement that the scholarship program, which began in 2022 to provide educational support to students with financial disabilities, will continue this year. Kaner said that in the 2025-2026 academic year, scholarships will be awarded to 5 students, and the acceptance of applications will begin tomorrow.
Kaner also stressed that within the framework of this program, implemented by the Vedat Kaner Foundation with a focus on public benefit, 10 students were previously supported. He noted that thanks to this scholarship, students studying in departments such as special education, electrical engineering, physical education, law, nursing, medicine and dentistry have successfully completed their studies. In addition, he said that the foundation is in constant contact with scholarship recipients and provides them with various discounts, for example, on medical services and stationery.
Students who are citizens of the TRNC, as well as citizens of the Republic of Turkey who have completed their secondary education in the TRNC, will be able to apply.
