Tanyel’s Smile Foundation gave gifts to children!
Gülay and Jeyhun Uzun, who lost their daughter Tanel in 2016 to cancer, founded Tanyel’s Smile Foundation, which, in collaboration with the Kemal Saraçoğlu Foundation, organized a special end-of-school celebration for children undergoing cancer treatment and their families.
According to the foundation, the organization, supported by voluntary donors in the UK, continues to help children diagnosed with cancer and undergoing treatment in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
On Saturday, Big Chef Restaurant in Lefkoşa hosted a dinner that brought together the founders of Tanyel’s Smile, the staff of the Kemal Saraçoğlu Foundation, children undergoing cancer treatment, and their families. The evening was filled with positive emotions, support and motivation.
It is noted that the families expressed their gratitude, stressing that such events give them a huge moral lift and help them feel that they are not alone in this difficult struggle.
