Three universities of the TRNC were included in the prestigious ranking of the British edition of Times Higher Education, which was a significant achievement for the education system of the region.
Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Near East University (NEU) and Cyprus International University (CIU) have been included in the group of 601-800 best universities in the world for 2025 according to the authoritative publication Times Higher Education.
President Ersin Tatar expressed his sincere congratulations to the universities in his official statement, emphasizing their huge contribution to the development of science and education. He noted that the success of TRNC universities in the international arena is an important step towards strengthening the country’s status at the global level.
The President also expressed his gratitude to the research, administrative staff and students who contributed to this impressive result, and wished the universities further success and new achievements.
